Provides one-hand operation for desired tightness of all types of nylon ties, including thin designs. Cutter handle trims excess strap. I purchased this cutter as a backup tool for my HVAC Business. While the malco's are a great tensior tool I have found that they fail, ALOT!! This unit from Midwest Snips has fewer moving parts and is less likely to fail after being dropped from ceiling heights.(10-30' depening on your work). I used this tool on and off for about a year and have since got out of the business. I paid a little over $40 for it new. I dont honestly think I have broken it in yet!!!!
