Mastercraft 4 Tool 8 Position Tool holder South Bend 9 or 10K / Atlas 10" or 12" Mastercraft Tools Hollywood Calif. USA 4 tool 8 position tool post. The base has a 4 ball bearing seat with 8 detent on the opposite surface. This allows for 4 90 degree positions and 4 45 degree positions. The post is 3" x 3" with 7/16 slots. Designed for 3/8 tool bits. The post comes with a new flanged nut, washer set, stud and cone shaped nut to fit existing t-nut. The t-nut has been machined to fit my South Bend 9 and 10K. By turning the t-nut 90 degrees this will also fit 10 or 12 inch Atlas lathes as well. A quick change is great but there are times it would be easier to spin the tool post for a new tool than change a holder. This tool post will require some shims to get the right cutting hight.
