This remote cable tester provides accurate testing of premise cabling and patch cords used in local area networks and verifies pairing following the EIA/TIA568 standard. It also tests shield continuity of of shielded RJ45 connectors which is required in areas where noise is prevalent. BNC equipped, coaxial cabling such as Ethernet 10BASE-2 can also be tested.
