When you pick up this micrometer and feel the weight of the unit and how smooth the spindle is you will definetly agree that it is worth the money. The frame on this micrometer does not flex like the cheap imports that are in the same price range these are in. We sell a lot of this style. They are are available in individul micrometers in 1" increments from 0-12" range.
