PHENOLIC XXX PAPER BASE MICARTA 3/8" THICK 186 PHENOLIC XXX NATURAL PAPER BASE 1 piece - 3/8" X 17" X 20 3/8" inches (+/- 1/16" width and length). (may have some surface scratches). This grade is composed of a paper base impregnated with a phenolic resin binder. It has good electric strength properties with fair mechanical strength. Outstanding for use as template material, backup material, panel boards, high voltage switch, gear, radio, television panels, electrical insulation, carberator spacers, knife scales, pistol grips, sword handles ect.. Has a high humidity resistance, good dimensional stability and excellent resistance to splitting. Very slick top and bottom surface. Maximun operating temperature = 140 degrees celcius. Tensile Strength = 20,000 psi. Flexural Strength = 22,000 psi. Laminate color = brownish orange. (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
