This drilling insert is used in negative rake Indexable drills made by Kennametal and Metcut. These inserts will fit the 270 series size 2-1/4" and 2-3/8" Indexable drill and the 272 series size 2-1/4" Indexable drill. Kennametal K68 is a primary uncoated grade for machining stainless steels, cast irons, non-ferrous alloys, nonmetals, and most high temperature alloys. Excellent edge wear resistance.
