The SL52USB is a self contained temperature data logger that plugs directly into the USB port of the computer. It has the ability to record up to 8,000 data points and has a measuring temperature range of -10°C to +85°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C. You program the data logger to wake up and take a reading at intervals from once per second to once every 24 hours. You then place the data logger in the place where you want to measure the temperature and leave it. After a period of time, the data logger is brought back to the computer and the stored readings can be downloaded. The software will produce a graphical trace showing the temperature where the data logger was placed. This can be useful for monitoring and recording temperatures in buildings, sheds, greenhouses, offices or just weather monitoring. When the readings have been downloaded, the data logger is reset and used over and over again. The internal battery should last 5 years and can be replaced. The data logger uses the user friendly, TempIT-LITE software which enables the logger to be set up and the data read and displayed in graphical format. Graphs can be stored, printed or retrieved at a later time.
