What Dan Hammond is selling: 64 1/4" rare earth strong neodymium cube magnets N45
64 1/4" Rare-Earth, Super-Strong, Neodymium Cube Magnets
This package contains a set of 64 super-strong, rare-earth Neodymium magnetic cubes. Please see our FAQ section at the bottom of the listing for more information!
Dimension - 1/4" X 1/4" X 1/4"Material - Sintered NdFeB (Neodymium, Iron, and Boron combine to form these super-strong, rare-earth magnets. You'll be amazed at their strength! These permanent magnets will never lose their magnetic charge!)
Magnetization Direction - Thickness
Pull Force - 6.5lbs (One magnet can lift 6.5 pounds!)
Grade - N45 (One of the strongest magnets you'll find! The higher the grade, the more durable the magnet.)
-A neodymium magnet is a super-strong, rare-earth magnet comprised of the elements Neodymium, Iron, and Boron, in the following formula: Nd2Fe14B.
Will these magnets lose their charge?
-At room temparature, our magnets will not lose their charge. Neodymium magnets lose their charge a specific temperature called the "Curie Point", which starts at 176 degrees Fahrenheit. So as long as you aren't playing with these magnets in the oven, they will stay strong forever!
What do all these N numbers I see mean?
-A number such as N45 is a measure of the magnet's strength. The lowest strength magnets are N24 grade, while the strongest are N54 grade. The theoretical limit for strength is N64.
