1000 POUND CAPACITY CLAMP ON TRAILER HITCH BALL MOUNT This hitch is made completely out of heavy-duty steel, fully DC- hand TIG and stick welded, and weighs in at 34 pounds. The bottom tube is a .250†wall, 2†x 3â€. The over-all length of this item is 27" and the clamping portion sticks into and under the bucket by 12â€. The vertical tube is .250†wall, 4†by 3†square, the channel on the top is .375†thick, 3†wide, 2†tall channel, and the clamping disks are 3" wide and of .375†thick, CNC laser cut plate, welded around the threaded rod and under the bottom, with the bottom weld being ground to ensure a tight, flush fit. The capping plates are 0.25" and 0.125" thick and welded on all sides. The handle is 10" long, made from .75†cold roll steel with a chamfer machined into each end to center the stop washers before welding. The handle bushing is machined allows the handle to slide freely. The threaded rod and nut are a 1â€-5 TPI Acme thread. This is a large, open thread that is very forgiving when contaminants get on it. This hitch will come painted gloss black with the yellow SLF insignia on it.
